Day 15 Beijing

Today was I kind of slow day because we got to the hotel at about 10:00am and from there we dropped our luggage of and then went to the forbidden city we did get to see it all because it was way to big but me got to see the main part if it. and on the temples the number of beast on the edge of the temple is how high in ranking it is







After the forbidden city we went to Tiananmen square and we walk from one end to the other and on there other side there was this bike and on the back of it, it had a trolley and on the trolley there was some really nice toffee coated q and there we got the metro to a temple were we could see sooooo much.











We then went to a show called ‘the legend of kung fu’ and it told a story about kung fu, and the dancing was fantastic and I think that they should make up a word for how amazing it was.

Day 14 Xian Wall

Today we did the city wall at Xian and we took a golf buggy around and we got to see everything as well the view was fantastic and when we were near the end of our trip around the wall my brother decided that he wanted to beat the buggy to the end and because the buggy was waiting for some people to move my brother jumped out when we started moving and he was holding on to the rear hand rail and he step on his shoelace and fell on the fall as the buggy took of and everyone around us was looking and staring and we think someone shouted out at the diver that he fell out. in Chinese. after the buggy we hired some bikes and one of them was a tandem and the other was a single first it was me and my mum and we raced Jacob and we smashed him then it was Jacob and mum verses me and I smashed them because they nearly fell of the bike. And when I went with Jacob I was at the front and I couldn’t keep the handle bars still because Jacob was mucking about and when it was my turn at the back we could hardly get started and at the end I put my arms out like an aeroplane and sang I like aeroplane jelly aeroplane jelly for me I like it for breakfast and I like it for tea aeroplane jelly for me.
Our next stop was the train station so we could catch the over night train to Bejing.

Day 13 The Warriors

Today was really busy we had to wake up before 9:00 because we saw the factory were they make clay models of the terra-cotta warriors they have them in different size’s like 15cm 20cm and even life size and they are sooo big, we only got the 15cm ones.













We then went to the Bampo village which is an ancient Chinese village and there it told us how the houses were made, what they were made out of and were they lived. There was also some dead bodys that they found and they think that one of them is the chief of the village and there was a tomb with two men and another one with four women. We also got to see what the house looked like and we got to go into replicates of the houses.





The next thing was my favourite…….. LUNCH.and on the way there we saw a 3 wheel car.





The place that went to was soooooooooooooooooooooo good there was this guy and he was making noodles and it is really amazing how they do make noodles. For lunch we got to have rice, vegetables, beef, chicken and the best of everything NOODLES the best noodles in the that I could live on them.







Next was a silk museum and there it is about who made the first silk thing and how they make silk blankets, scarf’s, hats, bags and ties. There we got some blankets a tie for Mr Rigby and a scarf for Ms Green as well as a phone key ring for Sophie.







After that we went to the mausoleum and that is a mountain that has the emperors tomb in it.





The next place was the best place ever and it was the TERRA-COTTA WARRIORS and they were so cool that we spent more than 2 hours there and we got a guide and she was really nice her name was Jenny. The warriors were really cool because there was the infantry, archer, the standing archer, cavalaly, chariot , and General. Also when we were going inside there was a souvenir shop and we went and had a look and there was the farmer that found the terra-cotta warriors when he was digging a well and I even got a photo as well as a book that he signed. also when the terra-cotta warriors were found they were in more then 700 pieces and arceologist had to put them back together.







The last thing we saw was the 6:00 show of the water fountain at the goose pergoda.

Day 12 Xian Sights

Today we arrived in Xian and all we did after we checked into our hotel was go to the bell tower and drum tower.

When we were in the drum tower we got to see a drum demonstration and there were two Chinese ladies sitting next to me and they could speak English very well and they told me about the performance and it was really funny.











After that we went to go for dinner and we had dumplings just dumplings and to be exact there was 18 types of dumplings .
